Book Your Preservation
Choose the keepsake pieces you would like Out of the Norm Designs to create using your flowers. During checkout, select your preservation options and choose what works best for you. We offer flexible payment choices to make creating your meaningful keepsake simple, accessible, and stress-free.

Ship Your Flowers
Ship your flowers or drop them off at our Colorado Springs, CO studio within 4 days after your event to help preserve them at their best. Freshness matters, so we recommend keeping your flowers cool, hydrated, and protected until they are ready for us. If shipping, please package them carefully so they arrive safely and in the best possible condition for preservation. -
Drying & Design
At Out of the Norm Designs, we carefully dry your flowers using a thoughtful preservation process designed to protect their natural beauty. Once your flowers are ready, we will create and send one complimentary design proof for your review before completing your keepsake. After approval, we begin crafting your custom flower preservation piece with care, detail, and intention. -
Drying your Flowers
Your flowers will be carefully dried using a silica process to help preserve their natural shape, color, and beauty before they are placed in resin. Each piece is thoughtfully placed by Out of the Norm Designs to honor your flowers and the special moment they represent. This process typically takes approximately 3-4 weeks, depending on the flowers and the details of your custom piece.

Preserving in Resin
Your flowers will be carefully preserved in resin to create a meaningful keepsake that captures the beauty of your special moment. At Out of the Norm Designs, each resin preservation piece is thoughtfully designed with care, detail, and intention. The resin is poured in thin layers to help protect the flowers and create a beautiful, lasting finish. This part of the process takes approximately 2 weeks.

Back to You
Once your flowers have been fully preserved, Out of the Norm Designs will add the final finishing touches to your custom keepsake. Your piece will be carefully prepared, packaged, and sent your way so you can enjoy a meaningful display that feels beautifully frozen in time. You will receive email updates and tracking information throughout the process. The process is completed in 4-12 weeks.
